Jasijo Academy: “Modern Society Demands More from Men Than Ever Before.”

Our thanks to Nigel for this excellent video (7:14). He writes, in response to The Feminisation of the West is Now Complete:

“Well they have only themselves to blame. King Richard gives an interesting analysis from a number of perspectives. Not being an “Anglican” and very much an empiricist having been an economist by education I do take a Marxist slant to the origin of feminism. However as feminism has moved out of Academe and the esoteric Elites and into every classroom I have great hopes the simple analysis very succinctly expressed in this short video will occur to many young men. That what is on offer is not “freedom from gender roles” but a reinforcement of traditional expectations for males and indulgence for females.

The irony is that this is even clear in the “documentary” (well to the idiotic Sir Keir) Adolescence. For it is clear that the boy’s “appropriate” response to the rejection and subsequent bullying through a social media “pile on” orchestrated by the Girl who rejects him, should have been stoical forbearance informed by “sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me”. Of course the complete opposite would have applied if he had orchestrated a campaign against a girl, because of course in that case even “unwanted compliments” are “violence”. The very notion that such should just be ignored is “blaming the victim” and abuse. Of course boys and young men don’t see the gross inequalities that open up once families are formed and careers pursued but they will see the huge gap between the ideology that is being pushed and their actual experience and that of their friends. Specially if nudged to simply reverse the sexes in the scenarios they are given. There is no deep analysis needed to observe exactly the unfairness the video illustrates.”

  1. So we have a tale of a 13 year old boy. Causing a stir. Unlike Jamie Miller (Adolescence) though this boy is actually real Austin Appelbee: Australia boy, 13, describes swim to save family – BBC News Demonstrating all those “toxic” traits in a classic display of masculinity, even down to the denial he is a hero and not to be fussed over. Grit. determination, selflessness, calm under pressure, controlling his fear and completing his task and collapsing because he’d pushed himself so hard. As we know from feminists in Australia the right thing to do is take no risks and wait to be rescued while Fire Chiefs in LA would say males shouldn’t need rescuing its their own fault if they get into difficulty. No non of that toxicity just be the “victim” and wait……… Someone will be along without that male bravado.

Fortunately Austin simply did his best and saved his mother, sister and brother. By not being a “victim”. Maybe he’ll be played by Owen Cooper in a TV drama. Of course no one will be thinking the mother shouldn’t have got herself and her children in such a position, nor querying why she charged a 13 year old child with such a task. Because deep down we are all as convinced as Austin and his mother, that the oldest male present is the right one for such a task. Austin Applebee deserves the plaudits, despite his modesty, and I hope it serves him well. But the story is a reminder of the double standards applied “be soft, quiet, in touch with feelings, expect help and be a “victim”” But when the chips are down dig deep and be the hero, be tough, push through your fear, strive even if your energy is on empty, do your duty ….. and don’t be too proud about it.

I wouldn’t have it any other way in fact but it would be good if the boys/men are “toxic” would balance their pronouncements with reminders that a lot of that “toxicity” comes in useful when stuff goes wrong.
