Our thanks to Gerry for this. Utterly tragic, but utterly predictable given women’s relentlessly increasing unaccountability. Likewise the recently-acquired legal right of women under the Crime and Policing Act 2026 to kill their babies before and during birth in England and Wales (the Scottish parliament is planning equivalent legislation). A woman could slit the throat of her emerging baby, thereby killing him or her, and face zero legal consequences. A feminist dream come true.
