Government ready to intervene if investment in female entrepreneurs ‘shows no sign of improvement’, following Women and Equalities Committee’s report

Madness on stilts. The title would more accurately read, “Government to throw taxpayers’ money away by trying to push water uphill with a stick.”

  1. I often wonder when England is going to completely collapse. The feminist, anti-male bigotry is beyond sickening and shows no signs of abating despite the pushback. The UK government seems Hell-bent on destroying the country!

  2. ” including through the £635 million funding pot raised by the Invest in Women Taskforce, the largest such fund in the world.” So despite the WEC’s assertions than nothing “specific” is being done it turns out “nothing” to the tune of £635 millions is in fact being done. Again having been in local Gov. and the NHS I know that there have also been initiatives in both to favour female led businesses in procurement from the mid. 1980s. As well as national strategies and funds from the John Major Gov. It strikes me a gret deal has been done yet in the real world to very little effect. And the irony is that the feminists give us the evidence why; women are risk averse, lack confidence and avoid individual responsibility. Making their ideal occupations within in large established businesses or public services, not having a go with start ups or running small businesses to grow or putting huge individual effort and risk with a new idea. Anything shoved at this is very expensive virtue signalling.

  3. Universal basic income could be used to soften hit from AI job losses in UK, minister says | AI (artificial intelligence) | The Guardian The next feminist issue. Ignoring the obvious that if the numbers of people in work fall so does the tax take, and the ability to give away taxpayers money. But if one follows where the “axe” it likely to fall it is in industries with a lot of routine admin occupations, and of course such routine office jobs (with flexibility, work/life balance, air conditioning etc.) are filled by females. In the US the contraction in such jobs has been more than matched by new productive jobs. But here …… well not so so far. So how to protect all these redundant females ? Just hand out a universal benefit to them! As the cushy jobs contract expect a feminist outcry, specially as it’ll effect “journalism” which these days consists of cutting and pasting reports from agencies, press releases or social media.
