Sophie Walker, former leader of the Women’s Equality Party

I just had to post this. The Wikipedia entry on the WEP informs us that Sophie Walker was elected leader in 2018. From that entry:

Walker had been due to serve a five-year term until 2023 but resigned 10 months later, stating “sometimes in order to lead, you have to get out of the way”.

  1. As I recall she declared the WEP was full of feminists too white and middle class. Really the Liberals and Greens fulfilled these criteria fully already, so no need for the WEP
