I thought it an opportunity to post in the comments section another Gosport story, one of 35+ years’ standing, The Gosport War Memorial Hospital 1990s opioid deaths scandal. Dr Jane Barton, 77, has been a case study in female unaccountability for 35+ years. Before long – I’m guessing, within a minute – a moderator had removed my comments, with the note “Replies hidden according to Matt Goodwin’s reply rules and moderation preferences”.
