Interesting read. I saw the original DM article and thought, just wimmin whining again. It’s their own behaviour that leads men to – rationally – decide marriage and children are not for them and until maybe 1960 it was perfectly normal, in no way suspect, and in some occupations not far off being required for a man to be a bachelor. It is the modern compulsion on everyone to pair off and reproduce that is historically anomalous.
I’m one of the 10% who are childfree by choice, btw, gentlemen, and I don’t for one second regret it.
