J4MB calls for Alun Michael, Police and Crime Commissioner for South Wales, to resign

We recently called for the resignation of Vera Baird, Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) for Northumbria. The letter we sent her is here.

Today we’re calling for the resignation of a second PCC.

Alun Michael was a Labour MP before taking on the role of PCC for South Wales in 2012. We are today calling for his resignation in the light of comments he made in a letter in the South Wales Echo, responding to an earlier letter from Anne O’Regan. In our view, he appears to have contravened three promises he made in his Oath of Office. We’re about to email him this letter.

About Mike Buchanan

I'm a men's human rights advocate, writer, and publisher. My primary focus is leading the political party I launched in 2013, Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them). I still work actively on two campaigns I launched in early 2012, Campaign for Merit in Business and the Anti-Feminism League. In 2014 I launched The Alternative Sexism Project, aiming to raise public understanding that the sexism faced by men and boys has far more grievous consequences than the sexism faced by women and girls.
