Anne O’Regan, we salute you

Anne O’Regan is a Welsh woman with grandsons and granddaughters. She has a growing and well-earned reputation as a feisty campaigner for all victims of domestic violence, regardless of their age or gender.

Anne has recently been engaged in an exchange of letters with Alun Michael, Police and Crime Commissioner for South Wales. The letters have been published in the South Wales Echo, and Anne’s latest letter is here – scroll down to ‘Don’t forget men and boys’.

We salute Anne for her efforts to have all victims of domestic violence recognized.

About Mike Buchanan

I'm a men's human rights advocate, writer, and publisher. My primary focus is leading the political party I launched in 2013, Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them). I still work actively on two campaigns I launched in early 2012, Campaign for Merit in Business and the Anti-Feminism League. In 2014 I launched The Alternative Sexism Project, aiming to raise public understanding that the sexism faced by men and boys has far more grievous consequences than the sexism faced by women and girls.

  • Anne is deservedly supported here. J4MB has mounted a challenge to the clearly sexist language of a Bill going through the Welsh Assembly. As Anne points out the sexism of the commissioner is against his Oath. And indeed it is against the Equality Act. Clearly Anne and other welsh people fighting for equity and human rights should be supported.
