Very mediocre, even at the ‘top’ level. The English women’s team played the Swedish women’s team in some competition or other yesterday, and after a 2-2 draw at the end of normal time, there was a penalty shoot-out, which the English women won. Out of 14 penalties taken, only five hit the back of the net. If you’re of a masochistic nature you’ll enjoy this (video, 5:02).
