Reform UK – Happy Days Are Here Again

Some numbers from the local council elections held two days ago, in which the Tories lost control of every council they had formerly controlled. Ed Davey, leader of the Liberal Democrats with whom the Tories had a coalition (2010-15), has started to echo Nigel Farage’s line that the Tories are out of power permanently. The parties’ shares of the council election votes:

Reform UK – 30%

Labour – 20%

Lib Dems – 17%

Tories – 15%

If the swing in Runcorn – where Reform UK’s candidate was elected by a majority of six votes, the smallest margin in any general election in the UK – were repeated at the next general election, Reform UK would have 420 MPs. The minimum number of MPs of a single party needed to form a government is 326.

From a BBC report:

He (Farage) warned civil servants working on climate change or diversity, equality and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, or anyone who “thinks they can go on working from home, I think you better all be seeking alternative careers very, very quickly”.

(end of BBC clip.)

There is talk of Reform UK councils bringing in auditors to examine contracts and efficiency programmes being started. If Reform UK can show major achievements in their running of councils before the next general election (2029 at the latest) the likelihood of them forming the next government will increase markedly.

All together now, Happy days are here again (1929) which ends with this:

Happy days are here again
The skies above are clear again
So, let’s sing a song of cheer again
Happy times
Happy nights
Happy days
Are here again!

Reform take Durham as Farage warns council workers

Good news. One of the new Reform UK councillors is ‘openly gay’ Darren Grimes, who interviewed me twice for GB News in 2022 – Mike Buchanan v feminist Jean Hatchet, “Is it time for a Minister for Men?” (2022) and Has feminism gone too far? (2022) with Kellie-Jaye Keen (aka Posie Parker).

Prince Harry loses legal challenge over security he receives when in UK

In the immortal words of Battery Sergeant Williams (the sadly mortal Windsor Davies) in the BBC series It Ain’t Half Hot Mum (1974-81), Oh dear, how sad, never mind. Of course the BBC never broadcasts repeats of the show, while it broadcasts endless repeats of Dad’s Army (1968-77), because it shows older white men as complete buffoons.

Prince Harry and Meghanzilla are rich as a result of their attacks on the Royal Family. Why the hell should British taxpayers pay for their security, when they can easily afford to pay for it themselves, for the few days they come to the UK every year?

Southern Poverty Law Centre: “Male supremacists entrench their ideas in the Trump administration, policy.”

More BS from the SPLC. It starts with this:

“Far-right extremists celebrated President Donald Trump’s 2024 election as an opportunity to further entrench a male supremacist culture that is permissive to violence against women. And within his first 100 days, Trump has validated their optimism.

Through his appointments of white men dogged by allegations of sexual harassment, abuse and violence, Trump has publicly affirmed his hostility for feminism to his male supporters and fed the male supremacist belief that white men are victims threatened by a changing social order, whose privilege must be restored and protected.

There are serious consequences to selecting male supremacists and potential perpetrators of violence against women [J4MB emphasis: Er… isn’t that everyone?] to top government positions, both for the women working in these agencies and for the rest of the country. His actions will strengthen hierarchies of both gender and race, disproportionately harming women of color.”

Donald Trump’s latest Executive Order: “Ending Taxpayer Subsidization of Biased Media.”

Our thanks to Steve for this. Go, Donald!!! The Executive Order starts with this:

“By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, it is hereby ordered:

Section 1.  Purpose.  National Public Radio (NPR) and the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) receive taxpayer funds through the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB).  Unlike in 1967, when the CPB was established, today the media landscape is filled with abundant, diverse, and innovative news options.  Government funding of news media in this environment is not only outdated and unnecessary but corrosive to the appearance of journalistic independence.

At the very least, Americans have the right to expect that if their tax dollars fund public broadcasting at all, they fund only fair, accurate, unbiased, and nonpartisan news coverage.  No media outlet has a constitutional right to taxpayer subsidies, and the Government is entitled to determine which categories of activities to subsidize.  The CPB’s governing statute reflects principles of impartiality:  the CPB may not “contribute to or otherwise support any political party.”  47 U.S.C. 396(f)(3); see also id. 396(e)(2).

The CPB fails to abide by these principles to the extent it subsidizes NPR and PBS.  Which viewpoints NPR and PBS promote does not matter.  What does matter is that neither entity presents a fair, accurate, or unbiased portrayal of current events to taxpaying citizens.

I therefore instruct the CPB Board of Directors (CPB Board) and all executive departments and agencies (agencies) to cease Federal funding for NPR and PBS.”

We look forward to Nigel Farage doing the same in relation to the BBC and Channel 4 when he becomes prime minister at the head of a Reform UK government in 2029 (or earlier). Now isn’t that something to really look forward to?

Nafees Alam Ph.D. for Psychology Today: “Feminism and the Manosphere: Beyond the Gender Divide.”

Complete BS. Nafees Alam should be utterly ashamed of himself, for his complete ignorance about feminism in particular.

Russell Brand granted bail after court appearance

A BBC piece by a female “journalist”.

Brand faces one allegation of indecent assault, one of oral rape and two further counts of sexual assault, relating to four separate women, between 1999 and 2005 – 20-26 years ago. The BBC “journalist” makes no mention of how long ago the alleged offences took place.

Brand denies the allegations, we can only hope he finds justice done by the jury in his state-approved kangaroo court. I predict he’ll be cleared on all the charges.

Since we launched J4MB as a political party in 2013 we have been adamant that those alleged of sexual offences should enjoy the same anonymity as their (so often false) allegators, unless and until convicted. But so many rape convictions are simply wrong.

This seems as good a time as any to provide again the link to Janet Bloomfield’s 13 reasons women lie about rape (2014).

A supporter comments on “A Chinese student writes…”

Our thanks to cp for commenting on a piece we posted a few hours ago, A Chinese student writes…:

“Interesting to hear. China has the same fundamental human problems as everywhere else on the globe. The cheap fossil fuel energy resources which have facilitated a population explosion are beginning to falter, and Governments need to reduce populations. Having already done this overtly in the case of China, they have reverted to the Western model, covert population reduction through ’empowering’ women.

Gerry Alexander made a presentation on Feminism’s Role of Feminism in Population Control at ICMI24. The 1974 Kissinger Memorandum NSSM200 features prominently. It’s interesting, in the light of current events, that the report talks explicitly about the likelihood of USA requirement for minerals from abroad in the near future.

The theory behind the use of feminism is simple. Give a woman a job, instead of a man, and there goes another man who may never pair bond with a woman, and form a family. V C Wynne-Edwards (1906-97) referred to male employment as man’s ‘licence to breed’. That licence is slowly being revoked. The effect is much more subtle than ‘one woman in employment, one man out of employment.’ For the employed woman, an entire strata of men are now, somehow, ‘beneath’ her, and will not be considered as partners. Even worse, it is not impossible that both east and west are, thereby, building up stocks of ‘bare branches’, frustrated masculinity seeking an outlet, a useful resource in the coming conflicts over energy and minerals for energy storage. This was predicted by the feminist Valerie Hudson, in her 2004 book ‘Bare Branches’.”
