A hilarious piece (Times, £) by a female journalist who interviewed two women, both 65. Obviously, no men were interviewed. The start of the piece:
“Women’s progress in the 21st century has been wounded by double-edged swords: well-intentioned policies, [J4MB: None of them were well-intentioned. All were designed to advantage women at the expense of men, many of them better-qualified.] many of which end up hurting women even when they were designed to help, according to a new book by business leaders.
Case in point: “menopause strategies” of the kind the government will force larger companies to adopt next year already have the unintended consequence of providing more ammunition for those questioning the competency of older women.”
