Esther Vilar (1935- ), 89, was (at the age of 36) the authoress of the remarkable book The Manipulated Man (1971). It has just been republished (and made available again through Amazon) under the title The Tamed Man.
I sought for many years to contact Esther with a view to her appearing at an ICMI, without success. Janice Fiamengo would like to interview her, if she’s willing, writing:
“She is still alive, I believe. I would love to interview her if she is still capable. She saw more clearly than anyone what was happening–a remarkable woman, a true danger to feminism. She deserves to be far more widely known.”
I would ask anyone who has contact details for Esther to send her this blog piece, and if she’s willing to be interviewed by Janice, to email me (mike@j4mb.org.uk). Thank you.

Barry Humphries (1934-2023) was a comic genius of world standing. A month or two ago we posted a link to Sir Les Patterson (Barry Humphries) 1982. Pt. 1. (video, 8:24). Our thanks to Jim for sending us a link to a piece recorded in Oz the previous year, Sir Les Patterson (Barry Humphries) on Parkinson in Australia 1981 (19:15). I hope you enjoy it as much as I just did.

Please donate what you can. Brother K has for many years been the hardest-working and most successful street campaigner on a men’s issue that I know of, and deserves all our support. I’m out of the UK at the moment and I can’t donate via Facebook in the country I’m in, but I’ve just donated $25.00 through this link.

Interesting. The start of the piece:
“There is a crisis unfolding in the family courts around the world — one that is hidden in plain sight. It is a crisis born not of ignorance, but of ideology and at its centre are children, suffering silently, as the adults around them fail to see the truth of the harm they are enduring.
The family court system in England and Wales is increasingly being pulled into the orbit of a shared delusion — a sweeping narrative, largely driven by vocal women’s rights campaigners, that aims to convince the world that abusive fathers are using claims of “parental alienation” to gain custody of children, at the expense of protective mothers. This shared delusion, which has one repeated narrative, that the family courts are a hotbed of misogynistic control of women and children, has taken root once again, fed by the narratives of mothers who have been found to have harmed their children, supported by academics who take every word these women say as truth.”

Our thanks to John Barnett for this:
“Last week my wife was taken into hospital following a fall. Before the ambulance arrived we had a phone call from a nurse or possibly a doctor asking to speak to my wife . She was asked several questions one of which was “Has your husband been violent towards you?” A malicious or resentful spouse could of course have lied and answered “yes” so I do wonder about the ethics of effectively suggesting that such a thing had happened on the basis of no evidence whatsoever. But it just goes to exemplify the underlying antipathy towards men.”

Interesting. I’ve emailed my contact at the IEA (Mrs Thatcher’s favourite economic think tank) to ask if they plan to critique and compare the Reform UK position on Quantitiative Tightening (QT) with that of the Bank of England.

A piece (£) in yesterday’s Sunday Times. What a statement on policing in the UK today, which has become increasingly feminised over the years, with predictable consequences after the feminisation of medicine, education, and more.
The car had an Apple AirTag fitted, so it could be located by the owners. The car was in Chiswick, a few miles from where it was stolen. The couple dialled 999 only to be told by the police that they didn’t know when they would be able to investigate. When the couple suggested they may look for the vehicle themselves, they were told only to call 101 if they found it.

Over a period of almost six months we’re posting links to one video daily from the comedy channel of our associated award-winning website, Laughing at Feminists. Remember, it’s more than important to laugh at feminists, it’s a civic duty.

Our thanks to Gerry for this (video, 13:43). He writes:
“If you ever thought that feminism is only a Western problem this video will change your mind. Don’t jump to conclusions about the speaker.”
