There is a very old (Victorian) idea that a woman’s role is to be a kind of spiritual and moral guide for the man. She, after all, is more likely to be religious, and closer to God. I think we can put that idea away now.

Well they have to, otherwise they can’t close the prisons. It’s interesting that the “alternative” that will be available, local “homes” actually sound like the secure children’s home that exist for under 18s An admission that women aren’t fully adult ?

Gangs of youths run riot in Clapham for a second night Seems the arrests have all been of girls. Maybe they’ve heard that there won’t actually be any punishment.

In a just world these two horrible, sickening and worthless females would be thrown in jail for a long time and sued for property damage.
