  1. G ood. The bit that interested me is the arguments made for not making public the names of the Judges. That it may make them unsafe. And the detail really was about stuff that may get onto social media. It struck me that Judges in the Criminal Courts would have a much stronger case for being “unsafe” as they are often trying cases of violence, murder, gangs etc. Yet they are routinely named! I do wonder if its about the female desire to be “safe” from all threats, even the nonsense on X and the like. It reminded me of when, a few years ago, the loud complaints of women MPs led to a report on abuse of MPs on line. Rather than rely on the TV media (lots of women saying “something must be done”) when one read the report it turned out Boris Johnson was streets ahead in terms of the volume of abuse ! Theresa May (then the PM ) was languishing at no 7 but was the most abused female MP. As I recall there were only 3 women in the top 20 most abused. I can’t remember any of the men making much complaint, no doubt generally treating all the abuse as just the “noise” of an MPs life.

Though I very much doubt there will be any quick addressing of the well known Family court’s antipathy to men however I can see it being at least a begining.

  2. Mr Justice Williams, who made the High Court order, said there had been a “real risk” of harm to the judges from a “virtual lynch mob”.

    decoded :

theres a real risk we judges could be scrunitised for our sheer incompetence in family court, preferring to rely on biased gender based training from activists with their own agenda rather than the law, and…… ( drum roll please) common sense.

theres a reason why “best interests of the child” is SO hyprocritical and lacks any credibility…
