  1. Its interesting in this report, on a laudable effort from 8 women to buy and pack hygiene boxes, that it is reported as liked to the dangers of aid workers in conflict zones. Birmingham volunteers send aid to women in Gaza – BBC News The key is in the line “Seeing the lorry ready to go was emotional for many of the volunteers, she said.” As it, no doubt driven by a man, set off from the safety of Egypt to go into Gaza. I don’t criticize the women, but the reporter who links this to the 7 men killed in Gaza on a humanitarian mission, as if the 8 women face the same danger. Its not just soldiers in war who are killed or injured in conflict.
