EHRC to be investigated by UN group after bullying allegations

Our thanks to Nigel for this interesting piece. The headline (above) in PinkNews is misleading. The UN investigation relates mainly, it would seem, to the EHRC’s position on biological sex. An extract:
In justifying the review, GANHRI also cited the recent report by independent UN expert, Victor Madrigal-Borloz, who said in May that the commission wanted to give the government a “formula through which it would carry out discriminatory distinctions against trans people. Madrigal-Borloz added that he was “particularly alarmed” by recommendations made by the EHRC to change the definition of sex in the 2010 Equality Act to mean ‘biological sex’.

  1. no sympathy for EHRC

they published a report( circa 2015) into the mistreatment of disabled people in the uk in society through various aspects, but when it came to domestic violence they only wrote about disabled women, claiming that there was no data for men. Then they revealed their source of data was …womens aid.. The then head of EHCR( male) signed off on the report whilst claiming they were also disabled( a duplicitous incompetent head if there was ever one)

I did write to them about this, but was told it was too late to raise any issues.
so again EHCR your incompetence and bias has come back to bite you.
