  1. “She pointed to “The 19th,” a new gender-focused nonprofit newsroom that relies on a mix of membership, philanthropy and corporate underwriting as potentially successful model.” This points to the truth . That such things do not draw an audience but rely on massive subsidy. Literally £100s of millions of public money go to such things here in the UK, under the umbrella of the VAWG Strategy.
