I’m certainly not an expert on UK politics, but that sounds good from this Canadian perspective.
Wish we had as good a chance to make significant rapid changes in the political landscape here as Farage likely has there.

There has been speculation that Nigel might accept a peerage or knighthood in return for rejoining the Conservative party, and stopping his criticisms of the Conservative party / government. I have no idea if that speculation is accurate, or even if they were offered. But his legions of supporters – including myself and every British MRA I know – would have been deeply disappointed with him, if he’d rejoined the party.

One of the ironies of history is of course that although unable to “break through” in Westminster elections, Farage led parties in fact became the largest party representing the UK in the European Parliament. Even more ironic that the supposedly pro European MSM generally completely ignored anything to do with the European Parliament. Had they been less parochial and noticed that UKIP was the largest party from the UK; David Dimbleby (et al) would not have been so shocked by the Brexit vote.

Indeed, but more coverage of the European Parliament would only have revealed to more people how undemoncratic it is. And of course Farage forced the Tories to include a referendum in their general election manifesto, and the rest is history.
