Our thanks to Gerry for this. I’d be happy for transwomen to compete with women in tournaments where the prize money for female players is the same as for male players, outrageously, including Wimbledon. Maybe they could start playing the same number of sets, too.

quite. knots the feminists created for themselves. Clearly males are different than females and this includes physical prowess. The article itself illustrates the mess feminists have created “‘Hormonal therapy appropriate for the assigned sex has been administered in a verifiable manner and for a sufficient length of time to minimise gender-related advantages in sport competitions.’
Conflating “gender” with sex is a feminist tool, for once gender was simply a grammatical term, until feminists wanted to claim there were no real sex differences and so decided to raise “gender” to mean that there was no natural order of sex but only socially created “gender roles”. The latter used to demand women do all sorts of male roles. Come back to bite them now as the convenient fiction that female soldiers, firefighters etc. are as physically capable as men falls apart when applied in reverse to sports. This very belated rediscovery of sex differences laughable.
