Well one part of the argument is won. As even males with all sorts of medical interventions to change their bodies are apparently “unfairly advantaged” in their feminized state, according to feminists! As to the earnings, well there is probably a time limit to such massive subsidies to exhibition teams. There are after all many male sports, full of skill and determination and danger, that don’t produce huge earnings simply because the audience is small. And of course the same is true of the myriad of mens’ semi professional and amateur “soccer” teams. Really the chap asking a group of TV women if any had seen the Aussie Women’s team play or who their next game was against hit the nail on the head, the women don’t want to see the game themselves, perhaps hoping its men who will pay the price of a ticket. Not impossible, I recall the leader of J4B&M professing an interest in women’s beach volley ball. Now that might be a money spinner…….
