If the woman who made the false allegation does not go to jail for a long time, for causing severe distress, time and financial losses to the young man as well as to the society and taxpayers, then the justice system is neither just nor democratic, only a feminist mouthpiece and rubberstamp, similar to the likes of Zimbabwe. Furthermore, men who behave like gentlemen to our contemporary career women and women who make false allegations in particular, are first class idiots who perpetuate the current state of affairs. The society is in a dire need of a profound change. Unless men want to continue being treated like second class citizens, always under suspicion of being guilty of ‘sex crimes’, from kindergarten up to University, in the corporate world and even in the government. The system is clearly broken and needs an overhaul, real bad.
I have not heard anyone; not the CPS, the police, or senters even criticise the woman, let alone suggest she was the criminal, and the young man was the victim.
No because we live in a deeply gynocentric culture. And as far as I can see almost all cultures share a basic reverence for females. I think tactically one has to push for “due process” and justice. Any hint of being nasty to women simply causes men to step in to protect them! For instance I have never met any man, even those who have done so, think it is OK to hit a woman however provoked. The feminist line that culture “condones” this is totally false. Even men who believe they were provoked till they “saw red” still feel shame about what they did. I can only speculate on nature or nurture but from my experience male belief they should care for females runs very very deep.
Dear Groan,
I do not think you had lived in many or even one non western culture. While there is an element of truth about men being protective of women, the degree to which this applies in non western cultures pales in comparison. I have lived in several and I can tell you, men are far more respected there and far more believed than in the west, even when it comes to court matters. Gynocentrism is a western culture speciality and it has its roots in Victorian Britain and 17th century imperial Europe.. It was a time when Britain and many European countries were major powers, when men had jobs nearly secured for lifetime, almost endless supply of natural resources and women in complimentary supporting roles to men. Ie,: Men’s girlfriends, wives, mothers to their kids, house keepers, etc.. Now under such circumstances it was all right, even sensible to treat women with such leniency and softness.
It is an entirely different matter treating women in such a way at a time when Europe is no longer a dominant power, supply of resources is finite, jobs not secure and women in competing roles. Do we understand each other?
Agreed. Although, when viewing videos of female attackers being hit back on YouTube, I am heartened by the support for males who retaliate. There are still, of course, some men who condemn this, even when the male was very obviously a victim. My own view, FWIW, and I’m not a psychologist, is that when these males look at a woman, any woman, then what they see is their mother.
“For instance I have never met any man, even those who have done so, think it is OK to hit a woman however provoked.”
well then, I will quite gladly hit back in defence any person regardless of gender who attacks me, because I’m done with people thinking their gender gives them a license to assault me. Had my ex do this multiple time and I still have the scars. I wish I had followed the men of her culture who do hit back to defend themselves.
remember if anyone plays the gender card remind them its 2018 🙂
I know. It’s unreal ! The entire feminized ‘Justice System’ is tailored to focus solely on men’s guilt or innocence, with an emphasis on producing more arrests. The fact that the woman lied does not interest them at all. It is disgraceful to say the least. Men can not simply go on treating women super leniently, the same way they did 2 centuries ago. It no longer works in today’s world. Look at the result ! Utter disaster for men and boys.
Hahaaa! The glove kind of fits, doesn’t it ? When it comes to any issues between men and women, all vestiges of democracy, law or fairness are tossed out the window in the west. One can only think of places like Zimbabwe.
