Sarah Hall, 40-year-old mother, is a blithering idiot. She has demanded her son’s school take Sleeping Beauty off the curriculum because the princess doesn’t give consent to be kissed and woken up by prince

Do you remember the Smiths’ song ‘Girlfriend in a Coma’? For some reason that popped into my head as I read the title of your piece. On a more serious note, schools should be teaching wolves not to eat innocent Little Red Riding Hoods.
Actually, I’m with the concerned mother on this issue: leaving the princess to sleep is almost certainly safer for the prince in an era of ruinous divorce settlements and rampant paternity fraud. Just leave her be lads and go on your way with your wallet and your reputation intact.
One part of me is pleased as it is yet another story that just shows off the gender warriors daftness. But another finds it just a bit creepy. For her son is 6 years old. A kiss to a six year old wouldn’t be sexual at all, in any ordinary family at least. It makes one wonder about the mother, does she kiss her son? And does she think that that’s sexual? Rather weird. Perhaps I’m naïve but it seems likely that a six year old would interpret the “kiss” to be like the usual parade of affectionate kisses from parents and other relatives. Perhaps the “bedtime” kiss as it too is connected with sleep.
This mother is quite right, but for the wrong reasons. Stories like this promote gynocentrism and encourage the belief that women are special snowflakes who should be protected, cosseted, and privileged.
They should be banned. Everything should be banned. Anybody who even thinks about not banning anything should be punished in the most severe way. Politically correct thinking and behaviour must be enforced everywhere, as it was in totalitarian countries such as the Communist USSR and Mao’s China.
Only then will such insane ideologies fall apart, to be replaced by at least some semblance of the common sense of ordinary decent people.
The headline says that she has “Demanded” that Sleeping Beauty be taken off the curriculum. When I want things changed I usually just ask politely. It never gets me anywhere of course.
Here’s a fun scenario: A feminist is eating in a restaurant and a mouthful of food goes down the wrong way.
You politely ask ‘Do I have your permission to perform the Heimlich manoeuvre’ to which she replies ‘Uh, Uh, Uh!’ and as she turns blue and expires you say ‘Sorry was that a ‘yes’ or a ‘no’?’
Let us not forget of course that one is no longer allowed to refer to Snow White as a “slut” simply because she’s bed-hopping with no fewer than seven persons of restricted growth – she is an oppressed sex-worker.
Of the three bears two are now lesbian and the third is a cat.
Cinderella was, of course, oppressed by the patriarchy and not, as previously reported, by her misrepresented step-mother and sisters, and she did NOT in any way indulge in hypergamy at the earliest opportunity.
Bambi, in case you hadn’t realised, documents one woman’s struggle to bring up her fawn alone before her murder at the hands of violent men.
Incredible

She obviously thinks her son is already toxically masculine.

Forget the Taleban… feminism is the greatest threat to western civilization.

What’s interesting is she seems to be an embittered middle aged mother of two.
No doubt it took her ex-husband/partner about 3 years to figure out what an idiotic crank she was before doing a runner.
Of course she has the ubiquitous ‘media studies’ degree to embue her sense of the ludicrous.
