Is Kerry McCarthy MP (L, Bristol East), 52, trying to drive Kelvin Hopkins MP (L, Luton North), 76, to commit suicide?

Kerry McCarthy, 52, has been a Labour MP since 2005. From her Wiki page:

In 2005, McCarthy was selected as the Labour candidate for Bristol East through an all-women shortlist…

She was appointed by Jeremy Corbyn as Shadow Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs in September 2015. She argued in a Spring 2015 interview with Viva!life, a magazine for vegans, that meat should be treated like tobacco, with “public campaigns to stop people eating it”…

In May 2009, McCarthy repaid £402 for a second bed claimed in expenses for her one bedroom flat. She stated the claim had been made in error.

In October 2010, McCarthy admitted a charge of electoral fraud, accepting a police caution for revealing on Twitter the number of postal votes cast per party in her constituency at the 2010 election, and apologised for this action.

In May 2012, McCarthy branded a fellow train passenger a “lager drinking oaf” and suggested he should “have been killed before he could breed” in comments made to over 13,000 followers on Twitter.

Kelvin Hopkins, 76, another Labour MP, was first elected in 1997. Knowing that unproven allegations recently led to a Welsh politician committing suicide, McCarthy thought this an appropriate time to say she received ‘unwanted attention’ from Hopkins, a man 24 years older than herself. The BBC story on the matter is here. Extracts:

Labour’s Kerry McCarthy is to submit letters to the party which she says show she received “unwanted attention” from a fellow MP, the BBC understands.

The member for Bristol East claims she was sent “upsetting” correspondence from Kelvin Hopkins, the MP for Luton North, over a period of about 20 years.

Mr Hopkins 76, said the complaint had caused him “unbearable” stress. [J4MB: Our emphasis.]

He is currently suspended from the party in connection with a separate allegation, which he denies…

The former Labour frontbencher said she believed Mr Hopkins, who urged her in two of the notes to “dispose” of them, knew his actions were wrong.

“I never responded in any way, I never gave him any encouragement in any way, I tried to keep my distance as much as possible,” she said.

“I absolutely believe he knew this behaviour was unacceptable. [J4MB: She ‘believes’ this? Are we to assume, then, that over the course of 20 years she didn’t actually make her objections to his behaviour known to him, as any normal woman would have?] It made me feel uncomfortable in his presence and was quite upsetting.”…

Can anyone now be in the slightest doubt that feminist MPs, including some selected from all-women shortlists, are doing all they can to make male MPs of a certain age take their own lives, in a bid to discourage men – heterosexual white men, principally – from entering politics, or remaining in politics? Surely not. The proportion of MPs who are female will rise inexorably, and won’t stop at 50%. If 90% of MPs are female, that won’t be enough for feminists. Their appetite for power over men is insatiable.

  1. Looked at the “letters” reproduced on the BBC story. One really has to buy into the “all men are rapists” to see these rather mundane notes as some form of “harassment”. In a sense its good that they have been shown as so much of the “scandal” relies on lurid speculation. It is beyond belief that an MP, supposedly able to deal with all manner of people and topics, was in some way upset by such daft notes.

    • She shares with another odious feminist selected from an all-women shortlist, Jess Phillips MP, an inability to communicate properly with men. These women aren’t mentally resilient enough to be MPs.

  2. It is becoming more apparent every day that the ‘MeToo’ episode and the subsequent fallout are a massive own goal for feminism and feminists (what a shame. It couldn’t happen to nicer people). Indeed, there was a good article about this by David Kurten in The Conservative Woman yesterday, which you rightly highlighted. But the leader of UKIP is one Henry Bolton, I believe.

From whom there is a deafening silence.

  3. FeMarxism has no brakes.

No mechanism for slowing down, changing course or otherwise mitgating it’s actions.
It will continue at full, indeed increasing, speed until acted upon by some external force, or until it wrecks The West which is it’s long intended purpose.

  4. It always makes me wince when I read or hear someone say, “commit suicide”, because I find it repulsive to focus on a persons taking of their own life as a crime. It makes no sense to me to say he committed killing himself.

Let’s just say that Kerry, a fat ugly woman that cakes makeup onto her ugly mug, a radical feminist woman that I know personally as she is my local MP, based on my interactions with the woman, is a man hating bitch who I know would dance a jig if she succeeded in pushing Kelvin to suicide.

Poor homeless men sit outside virtually every local shop begging for scraps in an area where the male v female life expectancy gap grows annually, while Kerry publicises feminist drives.

Once upon a time I would have said that this woman is blind to male suffering, but having known her and interacted with her for over a decade my opinion is that she enjoys male suffering in a tribal manner, because to her men and boys are the enemy.

  5. Its long been my personal opinion that if all the vegans were immediately taken out to behind the chemical sheds and shot, that the next day both global IQ and global emotional intelligence scores would rise by an average of 2.3%.

McCarthy’s blatant Me-too damseling aside, she clearly doesn’t have the fortitude to be a professional politician (not many people do, myself included) and should step aside to let a more qualified person in. Can anyone seriously imagine someone who can’t tell an old man to stop sending them frisky letters doing better when its an IS hostage taking or a Grenfall type disaster that needs sorting?
