Labour sends Sarah Champion MP, shadow minister for women and equalities, to Shipley, in bid to win over feminists

Good news. Hopefully a sizeable number of the feminazis in Philip Davies’s constituency will vote Labour rather than Wimmin’s Eckwallity Party.

  1. Wasn’t Sarah Champion caught being less than honest about being hit by her then husband with a picture – of all things?

    • She hit him. “In September 2016, it became known that Champion had been arrested by police in 2007 after she assaulted her husband”. The husband pressed charges though in fact she was cautioned for the offence and it did not go to court. Of course she has since played the “provoked” card. You know the one men can’t. Her rather lenient treatment for an assault rather fits with Mr. Davies’ case about inequity in criminal justice

      • She married him because he was sort of famous (I can’t remember in what capacity), and then she wanted to leave him and reneged on the pre-nup they had agreed upon. She took most of his money.

      • He was a noted mountaineer/explorer. Celebrated (not a modern “celebrity”) in his day. Also a “toff” . One can’t help but think (as was voiced in the press at the time) that this was an “old fool” falling for a younger woman, who in turn used his prestige and connections to advance her ambitions. Old story. Prior to this marriage she had a series of minor jobs in the “Arts” sector here in Manchester.

      • He had the good sense to insist on a pre-nup too. Unfortunately, has as been found before in this country, they can easily be broken. He was not a fool to fall for her, or for to have a relationship with her. He was just a fool to marry her.

  2. La Champion certainly looks the part, cool and confident, very self-assured, obviously successful, which I’m sure is her main offensive weapon. In my experience such types rely on a haughty demeanour and chivalrous male deference, and crumble when faced with a man who is not intimidated by puerile shaming language, pouring out a torrent of incoherent abuse and angrily spitting feathers.

There’s a certain irony in Labour sending Mizzz Champion to Shipley because that constituency looks at present very much like a one horse race.

  3. Can we please refrain from merely writing “Sarah Champion” – the correct description is “domestic abuser Sarah Champion”. She has a police caution for the offence and has thus admitted guilt.
