I know there’s not a lot of difference between them these days as far as supporting the sisterhood is concerned, but Labour is still worse. If the Cons win this election, as I expect them to, it may take a new Labour leader at least two general elections to get back into power. that means ten years without Harman and Smith and Starmer.

The Conservatives are no better than Labour when it comes to imposing anti-male policy directions, in some areas they’re worse. All the key offices in the criminal justice system are held by feminists so we get show trials of men such as Mark Pearson (who spoke at ICMI16) and Kato Harris, the geography teacher. In some areas (e.g. getting more women onto major corporate boards) the Tories have gone further than Labour did in 13 years under Blair/Brown. I cannot think of one area where the Tories have rolled back feminist policy directions, can you?
