Yale student group wants to force Fraternities to admit women, gives Sororities free pass

Predictable. The short piece includes some tortuous feminist-speak:

The group’s co-directors also said that allowing only men to join fraternities is a form of sex discrimination and the university has a responsibility to address the issue as it falls under the Title IX and Yale’s policies about gender discrimination.

Interestingly, the group doesn’t have an official position when it comes to female-only sororities. McGrew explained this by suggesting that unlike fraternities, exclusively female groups are intimate associations and don’t affect social trends at the university in the same manner. [my emphasis]

  1. something does not add up. With harassment and sexual assaults being reported by female students in record numbers these days, why would female students want to join male students’ organizations so much? Wouldn’t it be safer for them to stick to their own, or even better ,attend female only universities? Surely the harassment would be halved or even eliminated altogether right away as a result. Because the current situation does not make logical sense.

    • This isn’t about the safety of female students, it’s about disrupting men’s organizations, ideally closing them down through shaming tactics. They care nothing for the safety of female students, indeed the more sexual assaults there are, the happier they are – more jobs for feminist parasites. It’s the reason feminists are behind the ‘teach men not to rape’ nonsense, absolving women for their behaviours – e.g. heavy drinking – in a bid to INCREASE cases of sexual offending, more jobs for feminist parasites…

  2. basically, I was trying to make the same point. Feminists pretend they are concerned with ‘sexual assaults’ against women, yet push women to keep on joining more men’s organizations. Obviously that does not make sense because that will expose women to potential ‘assaults’ ever more.. Therefore, the only logical explanation is their attempt to undermine men’s standing in society. Considering all this, why should men treat women in the extra polite manner they treat them now? I’d suggest men need to profoundly change their tack towards women to reflect the current situation we live in
