Emma, a J4MB supporter, is on the email circulation list of the Women’s Equality Party. The party’s leader is Sophie Walker, while the spokeswoman is Sandi Toxic. Both of them have won two of our Lying Feminist of the Month awards – here.
The party recently started a fundraising project (WEbay) for people to sell goods for ‘equality’. Emma was thrilled earlier this morning to receive an email from Sophie Walker, starting:
I am selling my shoes for equality!
The shoes in question are these. You have to check them out. Now, which of my shoes can I sell for patriarchy?

These are High Street shoes, worn; for most women, second hand means designer, barely worn.

Aah, those are, to paraphrase Germaine Greer, ‘please, please, please notice me’ shoes.
That aside, Sandy Toxic might be more accurately described as the spokesthing for the Women’s Everything without any effort Party.
