‘You could get hung for this 100 years ago’: Vaj Graff, feminist graffiti ‘artist’, sparks fury after defacing a statue of Queen Victoria – adding ‘vulgar’ female genitalia and pubic hair

Our thanks to a number of people for sending us this.

One the one hand defacing a statue of Queen Victoria is just the latest act of cultural vandalism by yet another talentless feminist – ‘artist’ Vaj Graaf, real name unknown – but I have to say I laughed when I saw the result of her ‘work’. We can be very sure, however, that as she’s a feminist ‘artist’, the humour is unintentional.

A tweet from the genius, in response to online criticisms:

It aint vandalism it’s a statement. LOVE THE VAJ

She told the Bristol Post:

The art world is male dominated. Fact. Street art is male dominated. Fact. So I’ve got to represent. I’ve got to redress the balance. [Quite why she has ‘got to’, remains a mystery.]

Queen Vic was a power woman. She was the original feminist and she was proud. All I did was show her how she wanted to be seen. What’s so offensive about that?

Queen Victoria was ‘the original feminist’, eh? A ridiculous statement, displaying the utter ignorance which is a trademark of feminists. From Queen Victoria’s letter to Theodore Martin, 29 May 1870:

The Queen is most anxious to enlist every one who can speak or write to join in checking this mad, wicked folly of ‘Women’s Rights’, with all its attendant horrors, on which her poor feeble sex is bent, forgetting every sense of womanly feeling and propriety.

A rare chance to acquire a classic vehicle, a solid investment opportunity.

11 months ago Silver Surfer, a father’s rights advocate, generously bought and provided to J4MB for use in the campaigning leading up to the general election in May, an example of the ultimate classic van (above). He and I have long shared an enthusiasm for classic vans – we’re both regular contributors of articles and letters to Classic Van Monthly – and they don’t get more valuable than this particular model, for reasons I explained in a video recorded on the day its livery was applied.

But all good things must come to an end, and we’ve decided that the van should be sold, and the sale proceeds passed to Silver Surfer. We’d prefer it to be bought by a J4MB supporter who’d retain its livery – it’s a useful advertisement for the party, for one thing. It has a new MOT.

Please contact me mike@j4mb.org.uk as soon as possible, if you wish to look around the vehicle, have a test drive, and possibly put in an offer for this classic van. Don’t take too long thinking about it, though. Investment opportunities like this don’t come around often, it need hardly be said.

The vehicle is parked in Bedford.

Feminism to be taught in A-level politics curriculum after teenager’s campaign

Pathetic – and utterly predictable. That’s what you get with an Education Secretary (Nicky Morgan) who is also the Minister for Women and Equalities. Ideological brainwashing of teenagers, prompted by an online petition by feminist grievance collectors.

From the article:

The (Department of Education) source said: “Female thinkers have played a key role in shaping political theory not just in the UK but across the world, it’s obviously right that students should have an opportunity to study their work. Consultation responses clearly backed this change.”

The source said under the previous syllabus feminism had not been a compulsory subject, but had been popular among students alongside other political movements such as environmentalism.  In changing the curriculum, however, the Government overlooked the importance of feminism as a stand-alone subject. Under the new proposals, students will be required [my emphasis] to study the women’s rights movement.

So who exactly is the teenager who has prompted the Department of Education into a U-turn, June Eric-Udoye? Six months ago we published a piece about her – following a blog piece in which she’d criticised us for awarding ‘Lying Feminist of the Month’ awards, to Laura Bates among others. Lying is a perfectly honorable tactic in the eyes of feminists, as we see decade after decade.

Ms Eric-Udoye was 16 at the time. For all I know, she still is. She’s a blogger for New Statesman, Huffington Post, and the Guardian. Two excerpts from her output should tell you all you need to know about this brainwashed teenager. Her Cosmopolian profile:

I’m June, 16 year old teenage feminist blogger and obsessed with smashing patriarchy. Often found with my nose in a book, talking about vaginas or dancing to Beyonce. Oh, and I’m addicted to Coca-Cola.

Her mistresspieces for the Huffington Post include Feminism: Believing in the Power of Vaginas Is Not Something to be Ashamed Of. An extract, displaying her genius in full flow:

I’m a feminist. I’m a very, very proud feminist (this is when you can start judging me). And why shouldn’t I be? Fannies are WAY better. I mean, come on?! We can bring new life into the world and still bounce back into shape. The fact that even men came out of a vagina is saying something about how powerful vaginas actually are. The power of the vagina is why we continue to be oppressed and dominated every day.

Our YouTube video of Reggie Yates’s anti-MRA ‘documentary’ on BBC3 has been taken down, following a copyright infringement claim by Sundog Pictures

[Note added 9.1.16: Reggie Yates’s anti-MRA ‘documentary’ will be broadcast again on BBC1 next Tuesday, 12 January, at 10:45 pm.]

In the autumn I had a lengthy meeting in London with a producer and a director working for Sundog Pictures, a media production company, whose chairman and founder is Sam Branson, son of Richard Branson. They solemnly maintained they wished to produce a balanced documentary on the men’s rights movement in the UK, featuring Reggie Yates, for an episode in a BBC3 series on gender issues. They said they wished Reggie Yates to interview me at length.

Along with every other programme in the series – as with all BBC programmes on gender politics – Sundog Pictures’s ‘documentary’ was a feminist-inspired hatchet job. I was never interviewed, and much of the programme focused on Roosh V, who is neither British (he’s American) nor an MRA. There were only three individuals in the programme worth watching, the first two of whom will be speaking at ICMI16 (about which we’ll be making an announcement later this month):

– Milo Yiannopoulos, who doesn’t identify as a MRA
– Josh O’Brien, a 19-year-old British student of politics and sociology
– Rod Lonsdale, a London-based MRA

The programme aired 14 December, and a day or two later we posted onto our YouTube channel what we considered the only elements of merit in the programme, the sections with Milo, Josh and Rod. Up to a day or two ago, the item had attracted 4,000+ views, a huge number of upvotes and few downvotes, and 150+ comments.

This morning I logged onto our YouTube channel as usual, to discover that the piece has been taken down, in response to a copyright infringement claim by Sundog Pictures. What possible explanation could there be, than the company is responding in the way their paymasters, the BBC, want them to respond? In short, to wipe the piece, and the resulting comments, from public view?

The delay in making the copyright infringement claim may be significant, too, as the full programme appears to be no longer available on iPlayer.

Alison Saunders’s response to our FOI request is now ELEVEN weeks overdue

Alison Saunders, Director of Public Prosecutions, failed to respond by the required deadline to our FOI request asking for minutes of meetings she’s had since she took on her role, with organizations advocating for victims of domestic and/or sexual abuse. Her response is now ELEVEN weeks overdue.

Our letter to Ms Saunders is here. We’ll publish a post each week on the delay, and email the Crown Prosecution Service each time, until we get a response.
