  1. I note that the event is supposedly about a fairer workplace for men and women. So first off they need to cover the shortage of men entering HE as signalled by UCAS. And of course the gender imbalance in lecturers and of course all levels of teaching. And then of course what is being done to get more men into nursing, psychology , medicine; all heavily female intakes at Uni. And while we’re at the sciences what about men entering Biology. So yes indeed it seems the Unis. do have a big job encouraging and supporting men into a whole range of professional careers. I doubt anyone will be able to identify any concerted action on any of these.
