  2. How will feminists describe Professor Fiamengo’s ‘mansplaining’ do you think? Is there a better representative of those women who are ‘not like that’ than her? She is certainly worthy of respect and admiration for her determination to stand up, often alone and against disgraceful attempts at mob intimidation, and voice opinions arrived at through questioning the acceptable orthodoxy and refusing to believe that war is peace, hate is love, lies are truth etc. etc. etc.

    There are courageous women and Professor Fiamengo is one of them.
