I had to check this story from New York wasn’t first published on April Fools Day. The arrests took place shortly after midnight, when the trains surely wouldn’t have been crowded.

Justice for Men & Boys 
I noticed that the female judge did not dismiss the charges as absurd but gave the men what seems to be the local equivalent of a bind over, meaning that she accepted their validity and I wondered what the gender of the arresting officer or officers was.

I wondered the same thing, but I think we can safely guess the answer. Clearly there’s no serious crime in New York to occupy female police officers around midnight.
