The latest spoiler review of ‘Feminism: the ugly truth’ on Amazon.com

My thanks to Amy, a supporter in the United States, for alerting me to the latest 1-star spoiler review of Feminism: the ugly truth on Amazon.com:

1.0 out of 5 stars NON ABSORBENT PAGES, January 25, 2015
By S.T. – See all my reviews
This review is from: Feminism: The Ugly Truth (Kindle Edition)

The pages in this book aren’t absorbent enough to soak up my dog’s pee in the carpet. I tried several pages but it’s like one of those paper towel commercials in my home. Next edition should have more absorbent pages.

The book – originally published in February 2012 – has only been made available in e-book editions, which makes you wonder, has ‘ST’ been trying to soak up her ‘dog’s pee in the carpet’ with a Kindle device, or another e-reader? If so, that would place her (or possibly him) firmly in the upper quartile of feminists in terms of IQ.

About Mike Buchanan

I'm a men's human rights advocate, writer, and publisher. My primary focus is leading the political party I launched in 2013, Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them). I still work actively on two campaigns I launched in early 2012, Campaign for Merit in Business and the Anti-Feminism League. In 2014 I launched The Alternative Sexism Project, aiming to raise public understanding that the sexism faced by men and boys has far more grievous consequences than the sexism faced by women and girls.

  • Amazon has a “Report abuse” button for reviews. If you get blatantly fake reviews such as this one then they’re supposed to delete them once reported.

Had a quick glance at the profile of this “reviewer” and despite the fact that they obviously use Amazon quite a bit, this is the only review they’ve ever bothered to write. So, instead of helping people with legitimate comments on all the other items she buys, the one and only time she uses the review function is to abuse it.

  • Just counted the reviews – 35 one star rating from feminists in the last 3 days. Clearly this has been orchestrated.

  • Obviously, criticizing the book without even reading it is what we are faced here with.Typical feminist unprofessionalism. Blabbering without checking the facts and statistics is what feminism is all about. And Mike has caught another lying feminist in the act! 🙂 I love it!
