  1. not only do not all young mothers wish to rush back to work after child birth, but many wish to stay at home permanently. The problem is that western governments are only interested in one thing-increasing GDP by employing every able bodied person in the land-even mothers with young kids.
This should only be done in times of emergency, war ,etc…
Increeasing GDP does not neccessarily mean better economic performance. Not when in doing so one undermines fair competition, talent, market principles. Not to mention quotas for one gender in higher education and hiring policy. All of this undermines free capitalist economy, the spirit of innovation, engineering excellence, etc….
It is not always the largest army that wins the battle, but the most modern one and the best trained one. As things stand, our governments under feminist guidance are ensuring that we are the largest ‘army’,but poorly trained and equipped one.

  2. An advanced and healthy society wants to have the best and most suitable people in the jobs that they excel at… Job quotas hold back production, technological advancement and therefore, social progress… The elites like to show off their status to other developed countries by bragging that they the greatest number of X (women, minorities etc.) in certain types of employment. Everyone else is made to pay for their status whoring via costly social engineering (in the old days, the costs of ego projects would come directly out of the elite’s own pockets, so they were far more cautious). In a just society, a women wanting children would have to either look for a working partner, or be willing to work herself while supporting a stay-at home-partner – not outsourcing the costs and consequences of her wants to everyone else… Daycare is basically handing your children over to the state… Makework, non-jobs and other benefits are essentially paid out of genuine male productivity, with little in it for men overall.
