There are few more shameful feminist narratives than the one about women earning less than men for the same work. It’s one of many feminist narratives which simply won’t die, despite there being precisely no evidence to support it. The Conservatives should be challenging the Labour party’s perpetuation of the lies, yet the Education Secretary and Minister for Women and Equalities appears to be endorsing them. Mike Buchanan is a British anti-feminist men's rights activist (MRA). He was the founder and remains the leader (2013-) of this party, Elizabeth Hobson was the leader from May 2020 to March 2021.
J4MB remains the only party in the English-speaking world which is resolutely anti-feminist and campaigns for the human rights of men and boys on many fronts. Those rights are assaulted by states' actions and inactions in many areas, almost always to privilege women and girls. 20 such areas were explored in the party's 2015 general election manifesto.
Mike was a business executive for 30 years before taking early retirement in 2010. He's written 10 books and is also a publisher. His last three books have been concerned with gender and gender politics, the most recent being Feminism: the ugly truth (2016).
Mike is the creator of the website Laughing at Feminists.
He has sole responsibility for organizing future International Conferences on Men's Issues (ICMIs) in Europe and North America, and was the sole organizer of the London conferences in 2016, 2018 and was a key organizer for the online 120-speaker online conference in 2020. He is the Conference Director for the online conference in 2021.
