I’m just putting the final touches to the speech I’ll be giving later this week, at the Detroit conference. Yesterday AVfM published a piece on my recent second appearance on London Live TV. The link to the video and associated commentary is here, it will take you to my AVfM article archive. They’re published 44 of my articles since December 2012 – two months before J4MB was launched – and the London Live TV piece has already attracted more comments (138 so far) than almost every piece I’ve published on AVfM. With stars like Dina Rickman appearing, who can be surprised? A supporter published this meme, inspired by one comment made by Ms Rickman. She also won one of our coveted Whiny Woman of the Month awards, which in future will be ‘Whiny Feminist of the Month’ awards.
About Mike Buchanan
Mike Buchanan is a British anti-feminist men's rights activist (MRA). He was the founder and remained the leader (2013-22) of this party, before it was relaunched as the Children & Family Party in April 2022. Elizabeth Hobson was the leader from May 2020 to March 2021.
J4MB was throughout its existence the only party in the English-speaking world which was resolutely anti-feminist and campaigned for the human rights of men and boys on many fronts. Those rights are assaulted by states' actions and inactions in many areas, almost always to privilege women and girls. 20 such areas were explored in the party's 2015 general election manifesto.
Mike was a business executive for 30 years before taking early retirement in 2010. He's written 10 books and is also a publisher. His last three books have been concerned with gender and gender politics, the most recent being Feminism: the ugly truth (2016).
In 2012 Mike launched The Anti-Feminism League and Campaign for Merit in Business. His Wikipedia page was created by a feminist, and remains largely the work of feminists.
Mike was the creator of the website Laughing at Feminists.
He has sole responsibility for organizing future International Conferences on Men's Issues (ICMIs) in Europe, and was the sole organizer of the London conferences in 2016 and 2018. He was the conference director for the online conferences in 2020 and 2021.
