  1. Hilary Clinton, is currently a presidential candidate in waiting. She is a declared feminist and has been for forty years. She is so focused on women’s and girls’ issues, I think she has just completely lost the plot – as have most feminists.

This is what she said to the First Ladies’ Conference on Domestic Violence in San Salvador in November 1998:

‘Women have always been the primary victims of war. Women lose their husbands, their fathers, their sons in combat. Women often have to flee from the only homes they have ever known. Women are often the refugees from conflict and sometimes, more frequently in today’s warfare, victims. Women are often left with the responsibility, alone, of raising the children.’

I can almost hear the graves of the almost exclusively male war-dead, across the globe, and down the centuries, heaving and turning in Clinton’s heartless, crass and grossly gender-partisan words.

Women: the primary victims of war? What about the sons, husbands and fathers who were conscripted to fight in foreign wars, like those men (and far too many boys) who went to the trenches of Flanders and died in squalor? What about those boys who stormed the beaches of Normandy for the protection of our way of life? What about those sons, husbands and fathers who went to fight for something they didn’t believe in, as, for example, in the Vietnam War? And lose their lives in a foreign field in abject fear and pain?

These are the sons of the women whose cause Clinton so flagrantly espouses, and which is so against their interests. Is this the extent to which feminism is prepared to go in its own self-centered, self-delusion? Is this what is in store for America, should it choose to elect this feminist to be Commander in Chief of its overwhelmingly male armed forces?

I shake my head so much these days at this feminist idiocy, I get a headache.

  2. with feminists only concerned about the wellbeing of women and girls, how can we even consider one for a president? No male leader ever has been ony focused on the wellbeing of men and boys. None ever. But with every feminist I read about or hear from, women’s and girls’ wellbeing is their sole focus, making them unfit for leadership roles or even unfit to live in a normal society. They do not even try to hide their anti-male bias !! It is blatantly undemocratic and anti-social behaviour.Only fascist and nazi policies can be compared with it.

  3. Herbert. I could not believe her words. Women are victims because their male relatives die? They are the true victims because they live and get to seek refuge and get to start again with their children . Are males so disposable? Just as dead schoolboys in Nigeria ? I have every wish to help the survivors and refugees of the world’s nasty wars. But surely the victims include those whose lives have been snuffed out? I was shocked and it was a shameful thing to say.

  4. From early May (and ongoing, including the killings of hundred more men and boys since the kidnap of girls):
    http://antimisandry.com/general-news/why-do-kidnapped-girls-get-international-attention-but-burning-boys-do-not-56048.html

“Why didn’t the world’s governments react to the terrible murder of innocent children who just happened to be born male. Are males considered so disposable in today’s world that their horrendous deaths are unimportant to everyone in power from the United Nations downwards?

It should be enough to make any decent human furious. Not only furious toward Boko Haram and his thugs but furious toward governments and media that knew of the atrocities against boys but didn’t care about them.

Ask your politicians why they or their superiors in higher positions took no notice of the terrible tortures and murders of boys by Boko Haram but only paid attention when girls were captured.”

  5. Douglas, the reason noone gives a damn about boys and men is because of the gentleman syndrome. By adopting the gentleman code of conduct, men, misguidedly and wrongly deemed themselves less important than women. The society quickly took notice and today’s blatant discrimination against males has everything to do with men’s foolish gentleman’s code of conduct. You harvest what you sow. Pedestalizing women is un-neccessary,sensless,illogical,arrogant and 100% to the detriment of males. It is a self inflicted wound that men still did not resolve to heal, mostly because of the perverse brainwash the society administers to each boy, staerting in kindergarten by nearly all female teaching staff. It is time to think again, before one believes women need to be prioritized….
