About Mike Buchanan

I'm a men's human rights advocate, writer, and publisher. My primary focus is leading the political party I launched in 2013, Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them). I still work actively on two campaigns I launched in early 2012, Campaign for Merit in Business and the Anti-Feminism League. In 2014 I launched The Alternative Sexism Project, aiming to raise public understanding that the sexism faced by men and boys has far more grievous consequences than the sexism faced by women and girls.

  • The problem with all this is that in ‘the land of the gentlemen’,even the male judges discriminate against other men and privilege women. Why? because they were taught to behave like that since childhood. To act in a gentlemanly fashion,a man is supposed to,expected to treat women in a special, more lenient manner, across the board. It is so ingrained in the male psyche, that it perverts the course of justice, literally. Therefore, this unnatural and obviously unfair custom needs to be removed from the norms of social conduct. How else do men expect to get equal treatment and justice? if one wants women to be treated in a gentlemany fashion (ie. preferential way) one can’t be surprised if women do get preferential, more lenient treatment as a result..One can’t have it both ways, can he ?
