Luke E Beale nominates himself for a Toady award

There are times I think we need to scrap the rule about people not being eligible for our awards when they effectively self-nominate for them. Not a day goes by without a woman – sometimes many women – self-nominating for our ‘Whiny Woman of the Month’ award in the mainstream media.

Less frequently we see men self-nominating for a Toady award, presented to men (sometimes, but not always, in positions of influence) who support the misandry-driven feminist drive for gender supremacy. Which brings me, naturally, to Luke E Beale. Only minutes ago, he emailed me this absolute gem. Seriously, I’m not making this up:

Subject: Feminism: The ugly truth response

I hope I have the right email address, and I hope that you can respond to me in an upfront and intellectual manner. To make a long story short, I cannot believe there are men that hold the views about women like you do. It’s a disgrace to see some of the things you have written about and only the most ill educated of men think of women as you suggest in your horrible books. As a man myself, I support a women’s right to create her own future and to steer clear of pathetic men like you. I am trying to write this with respect, so please respond Mr. Buchanan. Pretty soon, there will be a new era of more open-minded men and women dismantling everything you have written about and I cannot wait for that day. Thanks for your time.

Women’s & Gender Studies Major

Vice President, Active Minds

I replied as follows:

Luke, thank you. You have the right email address, and I thank you for providing the material for my next blog piece on Gender feminism is a female supremacy movement driven by misandry, and you (and your like) are regarded as nothing more than useful idiots by feminists. I suggest you read every piece published on over the coming month, and thereby start to educate yourself about gender politics.

I see you’re the Vice-President of ‘Active Minds’ – is the name ironic? I can’t be bothered to google the term, but if you send me the URL, I’ll add it to my blog piece. Thank you.

Have a nice day.

Best wishes,

Mike Buchanan

About Mike Buchanan

I'm a men's human rights advocate, writer, and publisher. My primary focus is leading the political party I launched in 2013, Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them). I still work actively on two campaigns I launched in early 2012, Campaign for Merit in Business and the Anti-Feminism League. In 2014 I launched The Alternative Sexism Project, aiming to raise public understanding that the sexism faced by men and boys has far more grievous consequences than the sexism faced by women and girls.

Hey, Luke, if you’re reading this….there is very little to NO sexism against women in western society today. If you think there is, please provide Mike with a list.

    • I beg to differ. For example I get letters from Lukes on a regular basis who think I need them in order to exert agency, be “empowered”, or even to know my own mind. Thanks for degrading me under the guise of “empowering” me is what I say. The problem with being a White Knight is that they need damsels in distress so see them where none exist. I regret that one of my bigger distresses is to be beset upon by feminists who believe they know what is best for me and won’t take “No” for an answer, and I’m in my 50’s! Feminism and all 20th Century social engineering has made *everyone* weak, so I must be weak too? What is that if not sexism?

Mike, I must say I am always quite impressed with your ability to put those who need it on ice. haha I thank you!

  • Luke you appear to have made the most common mistake possible. Woman does not equal feminist. You prove this by being a male feminist.

I believe Mike holds strong views about ideological feminists and how they manipulate and exploit men and women, such as yourself, hence this political movement. You seem to have missed the “and women who love them” part of his message and his drive for a more just equality for all. Most feminists try this misrepresentation of the men’s human rights position. The modern Feminist movement, on the other hand, have shown no concern for men, or their rights and issues, apart from to remove them or create more discrimination.

Borrowing your own words but correcting them for the real world,

“As a man myself, I support a women’s right to create her own future”, but I also support a man or boy’s right to the same.

“Pretty soon, there will be a new era of more open-minded men and women dismantling everything “ideological feminism” have written about and I cannot wait for that day.” Thanks for you time.

  • Some of the strongest supporters of the men’s human rights movement started out as feminists, just like this guy. So Luke, there is hope for you yet!

    • Great reply Mike – the original post from Luke shows the lack of understanding or just plain misrepresentation by feminists of the mens rights movement. It is not anti women but pro male and exists only to achieve fairness for men where needed. Which in modern western society is a lot. Why is it such a problem for men to stand up for their rights and want equality in the same way as feminists do? Can’t have it both ways Luke.

    Oh dear.

I find it fortunate he didn’t spell those “majors” in a font taking up half of my screen just in case I somehow missed them. It is such a sad time for academe where you can major in “women studies” amounting to sermons in a religion of hate.

So much intellectual honesty in this post, you could stick it on a wall as a template for sparking a fair debate over sensitive matters……. my personal experience with “moderate” toadies shows that they seem, every single one, to be absolutely unable to even as much as formulate one simple question without a hearty dose of eristics and attempts at insult.

    • Thanks, but ‘eristics’? Hang on, I got the latest Chambers Dictionary just today – it weighs the same as a small car – let me check it.

      (One-minute gap.)

OK, it’s in there. You live and learn!

  • Frankly what do you expect from a ‘Women’s and Gender Studies Major’ and a ‘History Major’? I bet he got a distinction by unearthing all the history about women that men have redacted down the ages eh? This guy’s been to the feminist madrassa, probably because he wanted to be surrounded by all the trendy, ‘modern’ wimmin who sit in rapt attention, learning how really victimised they are and who hand in their essays on time to get top marks. (Although trying to get off with feminists is almost certainly a bit ‘rapey’ isn’t it? After all eleven out of ten women are raped on campuses every day aren’t they? And the bulk of them are lesbians anyway!) This guy’s become radicalised. Simple as that. God, it is sad to see a man trading in his vital parts for a mangina isn’t it? And becoming so mentally neutered. (VP Active Minds? Gerroff. Don’t make me laugh!) Now, of course, this is all assuming it is a man. (Don’t tell anybody, but it might be a really clever ruse hatched up in the corner of some student refectory by another stupefied gender feminist child-woman, trying to bait the patriarchy and strike another heroic blow for the sisterhood. Call me cynical if you like.)
