‘I made a stand for women’: Wife who says £20m divorce deal isn’t enough declares she is a champion of women’s rights
The tale of a woman who told a court she ‘needed’ £25 million in her divorce settlement to buy a house in London’s exclusive Belgravia:
I fail to see what on earth Mrs Young has done to deserve £1 million, let alone the £20 million she’ll actually be receiving, never mind the £300 million she was seeking. She called the £20 million settlement a ‘disgrace’. To my mind the most notable disgrace in this whole story is the audacious scale of her greed.
Any man who marries without a legally binding prenuptial agreement must surely have several screws loose. We’ll be calling for mandatory prenuptial agreements in our 2015 general election manifesto. The government should introduce compulsory prenuptial agreements for couples planning to marry. Couples who cohabit but don’t marry will be deemed to have signed a standard prenuptial agreement on the day they first cohabited. After taking account of the reasonable accommodation needs of any children involved, the division of assets will be in line with the relative earnings of the two individuals following the date of marriage (or first cohabitation), and individuals will retain the assets they owned on the date of their marriage (or first cohabitation).

He recently launched a petition aimed at Sarah Sands, the feminist editor of the Evening Standard newspaper, with respect to male genital mutilation. Ray Barry, J4MB candidate at the 2015 general election – interview on BBC Radio WM
Ray Barry is the leader of the political party Equal Parenting Alliance, and sadly he’s estranged from his sons (now 20, 22 and 24) following his wife’s decision to leave him many years ago. At the 2015 general election he’ll be standing for J4MB in the Wolverhampton South-West constituency, where he lives. He wrote the well-received equal parenting proposals in our public consultation document. There can be few people better placed to talk with authority about parental estrangement, so it was only fitting that he made an early, strong, and substantial (over 16 minutes long) contribution to a programme broadcast two days ago, largely devoted to the issue of estranged parents (which almost always means estranged fathers) on BBC Radio WM. Most of the two-hour long programme — sensitively hosted by Caroline Martin — was concerned with the issue of parental estrangement, with numerous people phoning into the programme with their experiences. After Caroline’s introduction, Ray’s contribution goes on to 18:46, and is well worth catching. The man’s a radio natural. Enjoy:

Mumsnet contributors: ‘Whiny Women of the Month’
We recently launched The Alternative Sexism Project http://thealternativesexismproject.wordpress.com which has already catalogued numerous examples of anti-male sexist behaviour and comments, many of them immensely damaging to men (and boys). They make the comments sent to The Everyday Sexism Project seem laughable by comparison.

For a flavour of what these whiny women find time in their lives to whine about, the following takes some beating. It concerns a new BBC children’s series, Topsy and Tim:
The idea that the taxpayer-funded and feminist-riddled BBC might commission a series which ‘reinforces gender stereotypes’ – i.e. suggesting that boys are girls might be different in any way other than physically – is laughable, so the response of the BBC to the tsunami of whining is predictable. From the article:
A BBC spokesperson said: “We’re very pleased to be able to bring the Topsy and Tim stories alive for our young viewers to enjoy. It’s very early in the series and all of the characters develop over the coming episodes – after the near-disastrous playdate in the programme in question, we see how the children learn to mix up their friends and choice of games, finding that it’s much more fun if they all play together.
“Throughout the series we will also see so-called ‘traditional’ boy/girl preferences inverted, but always driven by the children’s emotional journeys as they mature as individuals and face the timeless milestones of childhood such as learning to ride bikes, getting their first pet and starting school. We hope our young viewers will enjoy going on those exciting journeys with Topsy and Tim.”

Mrs Horton was ‘well-respected’ and her actions were ‘out of character’. Well, that’s all right, then. Would such pathetic defences – from a female head teacher – ever be used with respect to a 33-year-old male teacher who’d had sex with a 16-year-old female pupil? No. And why did the CPS take no further action?
Mrs Horton will be able to reapply to teach in two years’ time. Would the same be true of a male teacher in the same circumstances? Of course not. He’d probably be in jail by now.
Once again we have to ask, why are women not held as accountable for their misdeeds and crimes as men are? All too often they’re treated as having no more personal accountability than young children. It’s little wonder they abuse the justice system, and many other taxpayer-funded systems, as they do.

9/32 As a result of this dynamic, women live more than six years longer than men and have higher standards of living
