Enjoy (video, 3:09). Nigel’s main challenger at the Clacton by-election on 13 August is Count Binface, an “independent space warrior” who wears a bin-shaped helmet. Thirty-four candidates are standing, breaking the record of 26 set at the 2008 Haltemprice and Howden by-election. The ballot paper is almost a metre long.

Over a period of more than two years we’re posting links to one video daily from the J4MB YouTube channel. The channel includes our media appearances since 2012, 300+ videos of talks and other materials from the International Conferences on Men’s Issues (2014 – ) and other men’s issues conferences we’ve been involved with, and so much more. The individual conference playlists are here.
Our website Campaign for Merit in Business was created in the light of the considerable evidence of a causal link between increasing gender diversity on boards and corporate financial decline. Mike Buchanan, Steve Moxon and Dr Catherine Hakim (the originator of Preference Theory) presented evidence to House of Commons and House of Lords inquiries in 2012, the video of their House of Commons evidence session is here (56:50).
Finally, we run the award-winning website Laughing at Feminists. The related comedy channel (170+ videos) is here. Remember, it’s more than important to laugh at feminists, it’s a civic duty.

Wonderful news (The Telegraph, £). The start of the piece:
“A model village has restored a figurine of a topless streaker after being criticised for removing it.
Last week, Godshill Model Village, on the Isle of Wight, removed the topless figurine from its miniature football pitch after some visitors complained.
The figure, a nod to the era of prolific streaking at sports events in the 1980s, and was included in the village as a “light-hearted joke”.
The decision to remove it caused dismay among locals, with Rupert Willoughby, a regular visitor, calling it a symbol of the model village’s “whimsical sense of humour”.
However, the streaker, called Erica, was reinstated on Monday after an online poll by the tourist attraction. Some 5,023 people (98 per cent) voted for it to be reinstated, while just 66 (2 per cent) were opposed.
Social media users welcome the move, with Marion Kent writing: “Some people need a sense of humour transplant!” and Christine Egleton adding: “She’s been around much longer than the ‘delicate’ generation.””

Nigel Farage has been warning about the possibility of such an incident for years. Fortunately, this time, no lives were lost, apparently. But it’s only a matter of time before more lives are lost in drownings in the English channel. Nobody knows how many more drownings have occured beyond those officially known about. It probably runs into the thousands. Only Reform UK has a solution to the problem, which will result in zero drownings, or close to it, as we reported yesterday – here.
