I couldn’t re find the link but a while ago I read an article lauding the development of “drone warfare” on the grounds that sitting remotely from the actual battlefield piloting drones made it easier for women to engage in warfare!

And of course they guy steps in to carry the load when it’s clear she can’t actually lift the bike over. Of course in solving the problem for her he is preventing her learning from the incident! Necessity being the mother of invention. His approach was “what’s the easiest way to to do this on my own” hers will be “if I make a mess there’s always help at hand to sort it for me” . A microcosm of the gender differences from CEOs to putting in a light bulb. In a way the white knight could be accused of being an agent of the “patriarchy” because he teachers her to not to be self sufficient nor competent.
