Apparently we live in “anti-feminist times”. I can’t say I’d noticed.
An intriguing event on 10 June. From the announcement:
“Building a Feminist Research Career in Anti-Feminist Times is a one-day programme of roundtables organised by the CHASE Gender & Sexuality Research Network and hosted by Queer@King’s. The day will focus on the unique challenges faced by early-career researchers (and activist scholars) [J4MB emphasis] doing work around gender and sexuality in UK universities today.”
I note the following announcement:
“This event is now fully booked with a long waitlist. We are not able to accept new additions to the waitlist.”
A “long waitlist” of otherwise unemployable angry deranged witches, I think we can all agree.

These ‘anti-feminist’ times have arisen because of the outrageous demands of men that feminist ‘research’ be backed up by actual, replicable research, rather than assertions, and that they might take the time and trouble to tell the truth.
Now, if you dare criticise the assertions of ‘female-identifying scholars’ and call their ‘work’ unscientific, non-objective, or lacking in rigour, you will be deemed to have committed the crime of ‘scholarly harassment’, to be added to misogyny on your rap sheet. That’s the end of your career.

Seems to me that the times remain anti- antifeminist.
