  1. The reality is that Donald Trump’s biggest fan is Donald Trump. I had great faith in Trump at the beginning of his 2nd term but sadly a lot of that has been destroyed. Not only is he ignoring men and boys but he has betrayed the American people as a whole by getting the United States in an unwanted, unnecessary Mideast involvement that has resulted in economic calamity that has terribly affected lower and middle class Americans. Basically he has lied to us, one of his campaign promises was to keep the U.S. OUT of the Middle East. All of this tragic nonsense smacks of a deliberate pandering and ass-kissing to Israel and Netanyahu. I did like Donald Trump personally but I don’t know if that’s true anymore, sadly.

  2. “and men should be paying attention to welfare policy, dreary as it is, because it was the first bastion of government misandry” This is so true of this country too. Just think how often blatant sexism against men and indeed boys is under the guise of the welfare of children. Not only the financial penalties, asset transfers etc. and perverse incentives to remove men but also the ballooning accusations and “orders” generated because in effect they are not investigated but are rewarded with the accuser getting both more financial aid and the satisfaction of “revenge”. The sections of society that are most embedded and reliant on social welfare in its many manifestations are precisely those where the gap between both sexes aspirations (partner, children, home, car, holidays being a Grandparent living a family life) and reality (illegitimacy, chaotic families, fatherlessness, “man deserts”, gangs, “single” parents etc.) is at its greatest. I forget the man’s name but decades ago I read the political auto biography of a minister in the Thatcher Governments in which he detailed how the Civil Servants and “Gingerbread” and other lobby groups effectively worked hand in glove to do things that were the exact reverse of his policy intention. Dressed in “vulnerability”, “compassion” and the need to attend to the welfare of children he in fact presided over a massive growth in both the welfare bill and child poverty due to family breakdown. Both the reverse of his Policy Aims. People really should read Thomas Sowell’s work on “black” Americans and the way in which the welfare system incentivises the breakdown of stable families and results in more poverty, despair, crime and chaos.
