Brilliant article! Expanding on the author’s “Women Women Women… it’s everywhere” point, I checked Hansard for how many parliamentary (both Commons and Lords) speeches/contributions over the last 5 years contained the following words or phrases:
Women 20,844
Men 7,424
Girls 7,392
Boys 1,998
Women and girls 5,007
Men and boys 349
Misandry 6 (in 5 of which it follows closely after the term misogyny)
Misogyny 861
Toxic Femininity 1
Toxic Masculinity 34
Not really “equal representation” is it?
