  1. I hope that people who wonder what it is all about watch what Sargon is talking about and do research into the clues he gives. He mentions Gramsci (Gramshki) a few times but it might help if people know this is Antonio Gramsci, the Italian communist who was jailed until the end of his life by one-time colleague Benito Mussolini, the fascist who took Italy to war in WW2. Gramsci is one of the thinkers whose philosophies were adopted into by the Frankfurt School.

  2. 32:10 Compare these women grumbling how men will make sexist jokes (i.e. jokes based on men and women being different) with the number of times women laugh at domestic abuse against men. One of the most well-known of these in the USA was the Sharon Osbourne ‘The Talk’ show back in 2011: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G6_klWFzzgw . In the UK, there was the The Jeremy Kyle Show in 2015 where the live audience burst into hysterical laughter at hearing how Geoff had to escape his abusive ex-girlfriend by jumping off a three-storey balcony. Only three years ago, there was BBC2’s Henpocalypse! – a show treats the extinction of men as a comedic premise. And so it goes on. And on.
