This is a really BAD decision. I can guarantee disaster, I almost hope for it. Australia is a cucked, emasculated and misandrist country.

Like many “western” nations Australia is busy pursuing more female “participation” and making its forces more inclusive. While to the North the giant that is the Peoples Republic of China continues to build its military capability. A decade ago China reformed its education to be more “martial” and encourage “martial spirit” in its boys. In an echo of the “playing fields of Eton” as the training grounds of Empire the Chinese have invested heavily in Football at grass roots level to ensure they have “heroes”. I presume, like the UK, the Aussies expect the Americans to save them if China tips up in the form of a massive fleet on its northern coasts.

A decade later, when the threat appears to be real (and America has made it clear its not automatically doing the “heavy lifting”), Germany is preparing for a draft of its young men and monitoring the travel abroad of all its men into early middle age! (and we saw what happens in Ukraine when the shit hits the fan) . Women can volunteer but for men it is mandatory. I doubt today’s German army plans to clock off at 4:30 pm, leave its allies early or arm its tanks with broom handles. Luxury beliefs? Looks like Australia is still holding on to them.

Mum pretended to be a police officer, then the real ones turned up – Manchester Evening News Needless to say yet another suspended sentence. I’m sure “She tends to go towards inappropriate behaviour when she cannot reach a regular solution.” will be familiar to many a husband/partner. When emotional intelligence actually means throwing a wobbler to escape responsibility/ consequences. Even to the extent of blaming her 9 year old son in this case!
Of course one can’t help thinking of the Captain who lost 25% of New Zealand’s navy because it was on “autopilot”. Maybe not so “amazing” after all. Though I suspect the current case will pin the fault on a more junior and male member of the crew.
