There’s no shortage of stories like this. (Sigh) Ancient wisdom has it that a woman must always be under the authority and guidance of a man. Stories like this make us consider the possibility that the ancients may have been right. (Sigh again)

I notice a piece in “Spiked” on the topic of the parade of women getting into trouble for “relationships” in Prisons, that lead to smuggling stuff in etc.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cly17l93nl4o. Just on a related topic of double standards. The retiring Chief complaining about criticism of her hairstyle being homophobic and misogynistic. I think I can say had a male Chief Constable ( or any constable) turned up in a brightly coloured bouffant as if in a student Rag. It seems a small price to pay for the top job, to look like you’re taking it seriously.
