“Mother of five” and this is relevant why? Well my feminist course from years ago would point out its not relevant to the crime itself but is to get the reader’s sympathy on her side. After all who doesn’t love their mother? Generally a “father” only gets a mention in a headline if he’s dead “Dad of two stabbed outside pub”.
