Dr. Warren Farrell’s “Myth of Male Power” resulted from the young feminist Farrell applying the feminist theory to the actions of NOW. What he found all those years ago was that the National Organisation for Women didn’t apply their ideology of Equality to their own actions. One of which was to oppose Equal parental rights. This was 40 years ago. Recently the Australian Parliament repealed the decade old law that made a presumption of Equal parental rights ad responsibilities. While Mr Collins recently has alerted us to some similar feminist maneuvers here.
My point here is that this sort of issue has been “niche” and fought out within the “elite” in terms of legislation and legal behaviour. While the general public has understood “feminism” to be being nice to women and girls, already a default in a gynocentric society. Now the very success of feminists means feminism is taught in schools (consent, relationships, gender stereotypes) So very different from the past where a few enthusiastic men, like the young Warren Farrell, were fully exposed to the actual agenda of feminists and their hypocrisy and contradictions and misandry. If more and more young men are exposed to the ideas of Equality and then can see that lack of the same in feminists demands and women’s privileges, I have hope the thesis of this video will prove true. They are, like Farrell, likely to “join the dots” and see the systemic inequality and disregard and indeed the hypocrisy. In a way an older generation missed entirely as they laboured under older “gender stereotypes” of feminine virtue and fragility, which is behind the privileging of females as needing more protections. In other words if you are told the sexes are equal you start to wonder why you, as a male, have to be hobbled and treated less well in order to help fragile females. You as an individual male start to see how often and in what ways you are treated as second class compared to your supposed “equal” peers. And paradoxically are encouraged by feminism to see this as not just “how things are” but systematic and institutionalised.
In fact there would be nothing more radical than actual legal sex equality in law apart from that being complimented by actual equal treatment. After all even in Australia when it had the legal presumption of equal parental rights and responsibilities its system still favoured women in its actions.

It’s obvious, from some of the proposed legislation that spews forth whenever feminist women are handed the political upper hand by feminist men like Starmer, that they have no intention of applying Kant’s Categorical Imperative, and making laws universal, rather than benefitting women only.
