@TheTinMenBlog on women invading Men’s Sheds

Our thanks to Sean for this. @TheTinMen write on X:

“I’m glad women find value in ‘Mens Sheds’, and 100% support a similar space for them. But this is the second news story of a shed going gender neutral after Loughborough, my home town, did the same in April. There’s nothing ‘inclusive’ about depriving men of their own space.”

Good point, well made. Some of the ensuing comments:

“The aim of the feminists is to destroy all men and boys-only spaces.”

“Women (not just feminists) know well men go to the Mens Sheds often to find a space to be free of female abusers. They are invading & will systemically take over all mens spaces in to deny abused men an escape from their abuse. And of course women, MSM & academia celebrate it.”

“Women’s spaces are their own, mens spaces are women’s. Eventually.”

“Serious question, women can have safe spaces; groups gyms, clubs. For Men, why can’t we just have some to with other blokes. Why is it such an issue for women to accept this? All men’s spaces get cancelled :(“

“Meanwhile, women get outraged when men work their way into women’s spaces.”

“Ladies, guess what? Nobody likes you. Nobody wants you around. You are not welcome in our spaces and we will begin kicking you out of them soon. Thanks for fighting so hard to kick men out of your spaces. We’ll use the gender discrimination precedents you set against you.”

“Women are high control freaks”

  1. After the successful feminist take-over of Movember, it was bound to come that they would be looking for the next male-positive place to either quash, abuse or take over.

Shame to the men that let them. It would literally be better to close down the men’s shed if forced – a new one can be set up. But to deny men a space that is purely and simply masculine in intent is to show an ignorance of male needs.
